I hold a BA and MA in Islamic Philosophy and Theology from the University of Tehran. My research interests regard post-Avicennian intellectual history, in particular the logical and philosophical tradition in sixth/twelfth through eighth/fourteenth century Transoxiana. My publications include the edition of Shams al-Din Samarqandi`s (d. 722/1322) ʿIlm al-āfāq wa-l-anfus (Science of the Cosmos and the Soul, Mazda Publishers, 2014), (with Asadollah Falahi) Logic in 6th/12th Century Iran (Iranian Academy of Philosophy, 2018), (with Amos Bertolacci) The Metaphysics of the Šifāʾ, Facsimile Edition of MS Malek Library 1085 (Mazda Publishers, 2019), and (with Reza Pourjavady) Keys to the Sciences (Brill, 2020). For three years I participated as Research Assistant in the ERC Project "Philosophy on the Border of Civilizations and Intellectual Endeavours" (http://www.avicennaproject.eu/).
