"Among the many arresting objects in the collection of Harvard University’s Semitic Museum are three small bird mummies, which were collected from somewhere near Luxor, in Egypt, near the end of the 19th century. On Jan. 22 this year, all three were subjected to CT scans, or high resolution X-ray computed tomography, by Emma Sherratt, then a Harvard postdoctoral fellow." Read full article
