Congratulations to Gavin Moulton! His Senior Thesis entitled, Şişli Mosque: The Changing Aesthetics and Politics of Mosque Building, Restoration, and Calligraphy in the Turkish Republic, 1923-1957 was awarded the 2020 Thomas T. Hoopes Prize Winners for excellent undergraduate work and excellence in the art of teaching.
