 At Commencement on May 29, **[Ali S. Asani](/people/ali-asani)**, Professor of Indo-Muslim and Islamic Religion and Cultures, received the Petra Shattuck Award for Excellence in Teaching, from the [Harvard Extension School](http://www.extension.harvard.edu/hub/news/2013-14-extension-school-award-prize-winners).
