I am currently pursuing a PhD in Assyriology in China. My current research project, titled *"War Imagery, Rituals, and the Construction of Kingship in the Neo-Assyrian Empire,"* aims to examine the unique role of war rituals in shaping royal authority during the Neo-Assyrian period. This study analyzes how the Assyrian ruling elite utilized war rituals as a tool to propagate imperial ideology, construct political order, and shape social identity. It examines the various discourses, media, and narrative techniques through which these rituals were performed and represented, shedding light on their multifaceted role in the maintenance of imperial power. During my time at Harvard University, I will conduct academic research under the supervision of Professor Céline Debourse.
