#  Students Meet Syrian Minister of Labour and Social Affairs

Recently, students from [Professor Adam Mestyan's](https://nelc.fas.harvard.edu/people/adam-mestyan) course, *Syria: A History, 1900 - 2025*, had the opportunity to meet with the Syrian Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, [Hind Kabawat](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hind_Kabawat). The Minister had given a talk entitled, [*Syria in Transition*](https://www.wcfia.harvard.edu/event/special-event-syria-in-transition-10-23-25)*,* at the [Weatherhead Center for International Affairs](https://www.wcfia.harvard.edu/).
